Beaming for Burlap!

I am attracted to burlap this year!  It's just so 'earthy' and warm looking and reminds me of  down-home, natural things!  Found some fun ideas for you to tackle, in your spare time!

Thought I would post some 'before' and 'afters'.  I'll try to be better about taking pics of the projects before I dive into them!  It seems to always be an after thought for me!  Here are just a couple projects done in the past couple of months...more to come!

Freaky Weather...

This weather for this time of year, here in Minnesoooota, is so weird!  Don't get me wrong...I'm not complaining by any means because our yard couldn't look better!  For the first time ever, we have everything cleared away for when that snowfall hits!  Yard is raked, toys are picked up, bikes are put away, etc!  So, since the weather was in the high 40's today....this is what I was up to!  Check out the fun rocker with the chair pad I rigged up from sewing the ends together of a fun, braided rug I tripped over at an estate sale!  And this cute Sellers table couldn't look more sweet with a better set of chairs...I just happened to be 'sitting on' within the back of the 'storage'....which, was my main objective for the weekend...so garages are for parking in!?  What?  A two-stall garage is supposed to hold the two vehicles we possess and not seven dressers, three table sets, two hutches and numerous chairs, hutches, and end tables!?  Such sad news!  So as I can continue to reside here, I have successfully accomplished moving 20+ pieces of furniture so that the vehicles can safely park away from the future elements.  Geesh.

Blog Slacker but not in the Daily Grind!

Holy Cow!  I knew I needed to get onto the blog and update it but certainly didn't realize how many months have gone by!  I assure you I have not been sitting around!  It has been a manifest of flea markets, estate sales and uncovering of junque yard finds!  I recently got into my booth at Annabella's Antique Mall in Bovey and updated with some Seasons Greetings and super fun finds!  Check it out on here and then scurry yourself on over there to grab it before the great get going!  The family and I are headed to Southern Minnesota for the holidays and do I ever have hunting on the brain...for finds, that is...not critters! :(

Also brought in new seasonal scents in your favorite soy candles of all time!  Absolutely sold out over the Hunting Season openers on the soy melts, but I've slowly recovered the stash!  Enjoy!....
